Enjoying Your Life

On this crazy, seemingly never-ending road we call life, we all want to have the best life possible.  And although I'm not 900 years old, it doesn't mean I haven't started to figure it out.

"Life isn't fair". If I had a penny for every time I've heard that quote, I'd have more money than anyone could imagine. I cannot stand that quote.  It seems to be true that things don't always go the way we think they should, but I think that's the point.  Life wouldn't be very exciting if it did.  In my opinion, I don't think it is about what life gives us: what we deserve after hard work, what we want after praying every single night for it since we were 5, how many friends we have, etc.  I think it's about what we get out of contributing to what is around us.  So if you think life isn't fair, why don't you try to make it so?  Sitting here making excuses with that quotes is not going to help anything.  What will is making a difference.  I'm not asking for you to fix every world wide situation, but what about helping others around you.  Listen to an elderly person.  Just having someone to talk to brightens their day more than you could imagine.  And after their long life, I think it's only fair to have someone to keep them company.

Smile & laugh.  If anyone has a loud crazy laugh it's me, so don't worry about that, laugh anyways.  There's nothing wrong with being happy.  Laugh and smile loud and proud.  Be positive.  Everyone is entitled to their bad days, but as a whole, life is so much more rewarding when you only focus on what is good.  Train your brain to think that way. It will change the way you see your world.

Be kind to others.  There's a reason people have been telling you this your whole life.  Listen to it.  There will always be someone who will be the meanest, most negative Nelly in your life.  Treat them the same way you treat the nice people in your life.  Spreading negativity really only hurts you in the long run.  You never know what could be going on in their lives.  Don't add to their unhappiness, but try to brighten their day.  But at the same time, don't let them walk all over you.  That will make you unhappy.

Just had this reflection about how trying to do all of that has affected my life in such a positive way, so I thought it may help yours(:

Love Always,

My Introduction(:

Hello and welcome to my blog!  I have decided to write a blog for a few reasons: writing is something that means a lot to me, so I felt this would be a good outlet for my thoughts, and I enjoy everything in the world of beauty as well as get loads of questions from people at school, so I hope my posts can help answer those questions and give tips and advice on things related to that.  I have my own column on my school's online newspaper also called "Beauty with Bree" and it includes articles on skin care, makeup, hair, etc., as well as tutorials to show exactly how to do specific looks.  (You can check that out here http://canfieldcardinal.com/category/beauty-with-bree/)

As the column was apart of a journalism class, it is not something I got to keep, so I decided to continue what I'd been doing on a blog for any readers who enjoyed my content before and because I loved it so much!  I am not a professional, although I do dream I will be eventually, but I can see and relate to problems I can see girls younger, my age, and older having first hand and I understand that the beauty world can get a little pricey, so hopefully I can help the girls looking for advice from someone just like them!  I also promise I won't recommend or tell you to try something I haven't already done or used myself, so it's 100% my opinion from experience.

I am very excited to get to write on here and I hope you enjoy it! Thank you for reading!

Love Always, Bree x
